Retirement Restart - Part Seven

Looking down at the box I see what appears to be a tight black top, a white pleather skirt, a pair of black flats, and a new driver's license.

I quickly snatch up the small piece of plastic, bringing it up to my eyes as I inspect the card in as much detail as I can muster. On the front is a small picture of my new self, though I appear to be several years younger in the photo. I'm smiling sweetly at the camera, my hair a little longer as it reaches down past my shoulders and off the image. My chest is on prominent display, sitting up like a milky white shelf inside a colorful and almost transparently thin dress. It looks like my breasts must have sagged ever so slightly with age, or perhaps with the pressure of having fed two children I never really fed myself.

Retirement Restart - Part Six

My jaw drops as I look up, tears welling up in my eyes as I see my body being that of a woman who looked barely a decade older than I was only a few days ago. My breath catches in my chest as my eyes dart straight to its reflection, my gaze fixating on the massive fatty mounds that appear to jiggle ever so slightly with each heavy beat of my heart.

Retirement Restart - Part Four

I'm forced to stare up at her from my position on the floor, my eyes darting over the young woman in the doorway. She couldn't be older than nineteen or twenty, her features a mixture of familiar and all-new traits. She is an absolute bombshell, around 5'6", her curvaceous form on full display as she poses in the doorway.

Retirement Restart - Part Five

Before I can ask her what she was looking for I see a shape step into the doorway, blocking some of the light. It was my Aunt, or at least what she had been turned into, the shadowy silhouette fading away to reveal the sight of a handsome and athletic young man barely over the age of eighteen with his hand deep in his baggy tracksuit pants.

Retirement Restart - Part Three

For a moment I wonder if it had all been some strange nightmare, a stress dream born from my own anxieties about where my life was heading and my unemployment. However, those hopeful thoughts are vanquished as my eyes flutter open and I find my vision obscured by long blonde hair.

Weakly I begin to shift my hand to my face, hoping to shift some of the light-colored mass from my vision. However, as I try to lift my arms I find they simply continue to stay splayed out where they rest. Hissing under my breath I try to do something a little more manageable, inhaling deeply and huffing out the air straight into my face. While mostly ineffectual I manage to open up my vision a little more, revealing more of the room I found myself in.

Retirement Restart - Part Two

A sharp scoff comes from beyond the door as my mother quickly paces away to someplace else in the room. "Well of course I mean you, me, and your Aunt" she explains from someplace out of view.

My faces twist into a look of confusion for a moment before an expression of shock creeps across my features. My aunt, who was only a few years younger than my mother, was the wild child of the family. She hadn't really done any productive with her life beyond her four divorces. Mostly she had spent her youth partying, dropping out of college in her first year due to flunking all her subjects, and her adult life leeching off of rich men around her.

Retirement Restart - Part One

As I slowly come to the world around me spin, the hazy blur that makes up my vision straining to come into anything that resembles focus. My head pounds painfully, the sound of blood rushing in my ears causing me to wince and hiss through clenched teeth.

From what I can make out the room was dark and quiet, whatever I was seated on doing well to keep me upright given my poor state. I try in vain to stretch a little, my long arms immediately meeting the limit of enclosed space as I weakly smack them against what feels like cold hard metal. Yet again I wince, not only at the dull pain in my arm from the sudden contact but also due to the reverberating echoy sound that bounces around whatever I was seated in.
